田村 星都 たむら せいと
＜陶歴＞
Seito Tamura
Born in Japan in 1980. After graduating from University of Tsukuba in 2004, she began her career in ceramics under the tutelage of her father, Keisei Tamura, a ceramic artist renowned for the art of brush-writing micro calligraphy on ceramic ware. Established her own studio in Komatsu, Ishikawa Prefecture in 2010. Her works are inspired by her love of the color of overgraze enamels of traditional Kutani ware and the world of Japanese classical literature. Mostly exhibits solo, she is noted for the fusion of her decorative designs and the art of micro calligraphy.
